At the market: Monday

For 46 years I have been buying and selling what used to be called 'antiques and curiosa' and now 'brocante'. Initially I cycled to the Waterlooplein with the cargo bike trade. After a few years, I exchanged the Waterlooplein for the atmospheric Noordermarkt on Monday and the cargo bike for a van. When I wanted to work less, the Waterlooplein was dropped and the Noordermarkt remained. What has also remained is the pleasure in my work. The beautiful things that go through your hands and the contact with the customers.
