Dave is missed, not only by us, but also by his many, often loyal customers. This is what happened: in July 2023, Dave Desjardijn had an accident with his bicycle. After a period in the OLVG, he now faces a long rehabilitation. The chance that Dave will return to the Noordermarkt is extremely small. According to his daughter Ellen: "Unfortunately, little progress can be expected. The most important thing is that he has a nice place where he feels at home. At first glance, De Bogt seems to be that. It's nice if some people come by." We wish Dave and his daughter strength in their rehabilitation.

Dave Desjardijn (1939) painted, made etchings, lithographs, woodcuts, collected prints and drawings by other artists. He has published about 25 books about his own work and published also prints of his collection.
